Da Nang is set to host a vibrant cultural festival, ‘Da Nang-Republic of Korea Week’, from August 16 to 18 at the Bien Dong (East Sea) Park. This exciting event promises to showcase the best of both cultures with a range of performances, exhibitions, and activities. According to the city’s Department of Foreign Affairs, the opening ceremony will feature art troupes from Da Nang and the Republic of Korea (RoK), as well as a Taekwondo demonstration by students from Keimyung University. The Honam Women’s Nongak troupe, a UNESCO intangible cultural heritage from the RoK, will also grace the stage with their traditional instrument performance and Korean arts. On August 21, a delegation from Vietnam had a productive working session with the Institute for Urban Planning and Development – Ile de France (IPR). The discussions focused on cooperation in public transport, planning, and expansion. The 13th Vietnam Student Sports Festival in the Republic of Korea (RoK) was held in Ansan city on August 19-20, as reported by VNA. Vuong, who is among the top 50 richest people in the world, experienced a significant decrease in his fortune, down 300 million USD. With his current wealth, Vuong ranks 35th on the Forbes list of the richest people globally, dropping three places from his previous ranking of 33rd.
