Vietnam Boosts Tourism Collaboration with UK and India

The Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park Management Board has recently conducted a working session and signed a memorandum of cooperation with Yorkshire Dales National Park (UK) to collaborate on biodiversity research and cave exploration tourism. The two national parks will work together and share their experiences in land management, biodiversity conservation, as well as tourism management, development, and services. The central province of Quang Binh aims to attract 4.5-5 million visitors in 2024 and generate over USD 220 million in tourism revenue. In 2024, the province plans to focus on investing in tourism infrastructure and developing new tourism products, such as eco-tourism, cultural and historical tourism, and community tourism, to meet the demands of travelers. Hanoi’s Spring Calligraphy Festival launches

The annual Spring Calligraphy Festival and Hieu hoc (Studiousness) Calligraphy Exhibition began on February 3 at the Lake of Literature located within the Temple of Literature in Hanoi. This year’s festival showcased 40 calligraphers who were selected through a writing competition to exhibit their works. Adhering to tradition, the calligraphers, decked out in traditional garments, sit in bamboo tents. Stalls have been set up around the lake to cater to visitors who wish to request calligraphic letters.
