Cuc Phuong National Park Grabs Honors at World Travel Award 2023

Cuc Phuong National Park will be recognized at the prestigious 30th World Travel Award (WTA) Asia & Oceania Gala Ceremony on September 6th in Ho Chi Minh City. This national park is not only Vietnam’s first but also one of its largest nature reserves, offering an enchanting blend of flora, fauna, and cultural heritage that appeals to tourists.

With a sprawling area of 22,200 hectares nestled against Tam Diep mountain, Cuc Phuong National Park boasts an impressive array of over 2,000 plant species and 2,600 animal species, many of which are included in the Red Book of Vietnam and the world. This makes it one of the country’s seven centers of significant plant diversity.

Each year, Cuc Phuong National Park attracts over 10,000 visitors, a majority of whom are international tourists. Its well-deserved recognition as “Asia’s Leading National Park” in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023, further solidifies its status as a must-visit destination for nature lovers.

The World Travel Award (WTA), established in 1993, serves as a platform to honor excellence within the travel and tourism industry.
